Course Objective

To introduce matrix, determinant, linear transitions and relations between matrix, solutions of system of equations and feature vector.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to comprehend basic concepts related to linear algebra
2   To be able to make operations related to matrix
3   To be able to explain the relations between matrix and linear transitions
4   To be able to make operations related to determinant and to be able to apply.
5   To be able to solve system of linear equations and to explain geometrically

8 Midterm exam
9 Determinant expansions and application
10 Solutions of non homogeneous linear equations
11 Probing related to solutions and geometrical explanations
12 Solutions of homogeneous linear equations and probes
13 Domain, range, image set in linear transitions
14 Proper value and eigenvectors
15 Final exam
