Course Objective

The aim of this course is to help learner to see the relationship between advanced level language structures and meaning, to work out rules for themselves and also work out what is the most probable choice in particular contexts (formal/informal), to attribute meaning using these structures It also aims at helping learner to grow a habit of trying to see language-meaning relationship on a life-long basis

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learner practices present, future and past time structures in a variety of contexts in order to internalize them.
2   learner uses already practiced language forms in both controlled and open-ended activities.
3   Learner is provided opportunities to use language to personalize what they have learned to talk to one another about everyday issues.
4   Learner practises Action and Non-Action Verbs in context and uses them in controlled and communicative activities.
5   Learner is encouraged to use language to talk about daily news
6   Learner works on proficiency tests to activate his/her general knowledge of English.
