Course Objective

To teach how various language skills will be taught and to present related activities

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learner speaks English very well and comprehends concepts related to English Language learning and pedagogical formation and also the relationship between the concepts.
2   She/he adapts teaching programs, strategies, approaches, methods and techniques related to foreign language to his/her conditions. Besides, s/he utilizes his/her measurement and evaluation knowledge.
3   She/he applies the most appropriate teaching strategies, methods and techniques considering the developmental stages, individual differences, features of the subject matter and the learning outcomes of the students.
4   She/he develops appropriate material in parallel with students' needs.
5   She/he works in harmony with other teachers of English and takes common decisions with them, participates in organizations and conferences related to his/her field and follows resources related to foreign language teaching.
6   She/he knows her/his weaknesses and strengths and carries out studies related to self-efficacy, develops her/his weak sides.
7   She/he not only applies life-long learning characteristics in her/his life, but also helps learners to gain these.
