Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide history teacher candidates to learn the historical development of the concept of human rights, human rights-related problems in the world and in Turkey however tomorrow's teachers to raise awareness about fundamental rights and freedoms brought by birth.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To explain the basic concepts of human rights
2   To summarize the historical stages of human rights and freedoms
3   To recognize fundamental persons, events and institutions on human rights and freedoms
4   To discuss today's human rights problems and solutions
5   To interpret the reflections of human rights and freedoms on education
