Course Objective

To teach to the major artists of Tanzimat period of the Turkish poetry and poetry
flows, this term is to locate poets of Turkish poetry.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand and explain play a role in the development of the Tanzimat literature of the period of social, political and cultural developments.
2   To Understand and explain of the Tanzimat period poetry, features, and artists
3   To understand the influence of Western literary currents of Turkish poetry Tanzimat period, to compare and analyze.
4   Determine the positions of the artists of this period, in the Turkish poetry, poems, to examine relationships with other periods of.artists and works.
5   To compare to the this period poets, poems, theme, trend, in terms of stylistic and literary movements.
6   Learning to apply on the texts of literary theory and literary arts.
