Course Objective

Teaching to works of the Tanzimat period of the Turkish prose writers and development
of this period of prose works.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehenson of the effects to the Tanzimat period literature of to be translated the first novel, theater from the Western literature their f the Tanzimat.
2   To understand and explain to the story, novel, features and artists of Tanzimat period literature.
3   To understand, compare and analyze to the influence of Western literary currents to the Turkish prose of Tanzimat period.
4   To examine and determine the relationship the positions of the Turkish prose artists of this period, the works of artists from the period
5   To compare theme, the trend, in terms of stylistic and literary movements in the works of writers of the period
6   Learning to apply on the texts of literary theory and literary arts
