Course Objective

Explaining the concepts of myth, mythos, saga, and especially early age Turkish culture and mythology, and its effects on first Turkish plastic arts and European art.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows old Turkish life style in general.
2   Knows the concepts of myth, mythos, saga and mythology.
3   Knows the general structure of Turkish mythology.
4   Knows Early Age Turkish Culture (Steppe Culture) in Asia
5   Knows Middle and Inner Asia Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic Age Proto - Turkish Art and its animal style on pieces, and the effect on Europe.
6   Knows the universe and world designs, creation myths, legends and saga in old Turkish Mythology and can analyze the works of art.
