Course Objective

Introducing 2d painting techniques like printing, digital manipulations, collage, de-collage, dripping besides basic drawing, coloring and material knowledge (one or more than one technique on painting surface). Examining the master s visual / painting techniques in the past. Finding new ways of expression with unique and new techniques by using transparent / opaque colors and paint layers. Presenting of the new techniques of museums , presentation, health and safety conditions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows different materials and techniques using on the painting surface and can apply.
2   Gaining the theoretical knowledge to percept and interpret artworks technically.
3   Gaining the ability of using the most suitable technique or techniques by reflecting personal differences and creativity.
4   Knows how to protect artworks, polishing.
5   Knows museums examining and presenting techniques, health and printing conditions.
