Course Objective

To learn the existence conditions of Turkish sculpture in a changing culture, to understand basic concepts, analysis, interpretation and evaluation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1- Knows the evolution of Turkish sculpture between 1923 and 1950. 2   2- Knows State Painting Sculpture Museum and Exhibitions held. 3   3- Knows general condition of Turkish sculpture in politics of culture until 1950 till today. 4   4- Knows Non-figurative sculpture with its pioneer artists in Turkey. 5   5- Knows the general concepts discussed around first private art gallery Maya and the art market phenomenon.
