Course Objective

Explaining and introducing new developing western trends, theories, concepts in Turkey after 1945 and from 1960 s by presenting and interpreting samples chronologically and periodically.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the basic ideas take place creating contemporary art 1945 and after. 2   Knows Avant-garde art theory and can interpret. 3   Knows the Post Modernism Theory and art s sources. 4   Knows consumer society after 1960, reproduction and visual culture and can analyze national international samples. 5   Knows post-constructive approaches and deconstruction concept and theorists and can analyze the effect on contemporary art.
