Course Objective

To learn the frames and resources of thought influential in the formation of Turkish Literature and to enable reading and understanding these resources from original texts

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to comprehend the medium and frame of mind which preconditioned the Classical Turkish Literature
2   Being able to comprehend the reflections of the idea of Sufism on literature
3   Being able to evaluate the Sufism-literature relation as regards to centuries
4   Being able to comprehend the place, importance and value of the sources of Classical Turkish literature within the history of Turkish literature
5   Being able to comprehend the importance of the movements of thoughts which have significant impact on the formation of Turkish literature, and their place within our culture
