Course Objective

To provide opportunities to study with research based activities in computer based environments and to provide practical experiences to develop teaching material with dynamic geometry and software about space geometry.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know the concept `microworld and its features.
2   To be aware of the design process of microworld.
3   To develop materials by using mathematics software they have learned.
4   To use these materials in real classroom setting and to be able to present some reflections from computer-based learning environment.
5   To be able to actively use software they have learned in the process of problem solving.

7 Developing computer based materials about Trigonometric functions
8 Midterm exam.
9 Developing computer based materials about Trigonometric functions
10 Developing computer based materials about geometry
11 Developing computer based materials about geometry
12 Designing computer-based problem solving environment by usingn Polyas problem solving steps.
13 Designing real world problems in computer based environment.
14 Students presentations.
15 Final exam.
