Course Objective

This course will enhance students' writing, reading, speaking and listening skills with the use of communicative approach.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Reading and comprehension of English texts at Elementary level.
2   Learning vocabulary needed in their field at Elementary level.
3   Providing effective use of foreign language in the field at Elementary level.
4   Writing in target language in the field at Elementary level.
5   Using target language in their daily life effectively at Elementary level.

2 Voc: expressions with go, hotel problems Gr: Review of the unit patterns Ls: weak forms:review UNIT 7C- 7D
3 Voc: describing your home, going to dinner Gr: present perfect for unfinished past with for, since and how long Ls: - t- at the end of words UNIT 8A-8B
4 Voc: travellers tips ; verb patterns, adjectives to describe places Gr: should, shouldn t, must; infinitive of purpose Ls: understanding past speech UNIT 8C- 8D
5 Voc: everyday problems, adjectives to describe feelings, Gr: first conditional ; future time clauses with when, as soon as, before, after, until UNIT 9A-9B
6 Voc: phrasal verbs Gr: too, too much, too many,( not) enough Ls: fillers. UNIT 9C- 9D
7 Midterm
