The Automatic Control and Mechatronics
laboratories of Dokuz Eylul University are established in the Bornova
Campus of the university. The main purposes of these laboratories are to
provide support to the physical applications and experiments for courses
which are taught in the undergraduate level like System Modelling and
Analysis, Control Systems, Mechatronics, Electrical Automation and also
graduate level lessons like Non-linear Control, Optimal Control and
Advanced Automatic Control. For this purpose, students of junior and
senior class and graduate level teaching and research assistants with
their own thesis work, practice their tasks in these laboratories with
the guidance of Prof. Dr. Erol UYAR, RA Aytaç GÖREN, RA Levent ÇETİN and
RA Özgün BAŞER. Graduation, design, research projects and homeworks are
given to students who are involved in control, automation, mechatronics
and dynamics. These projects and homeworks are often a part of advanced
thesis-level projects.
Measurements and tests are done for
automation firms, hydraulic-pneumatic and water meter manufacturers.
