Profile of the Programme |
The Ph.D. program in Translation Studies aims to encourage and promote research and scholarship in all fields related to translation. The Ph.D. program offers expertise in the field of Translation Studies, and in particular, aims to train academicians and researchers for these fields. To attain this goal, students, selected in compliance with high standards of qualification, are trained in an intensive and comprehensive program. In addition to courses on theory, literature, linguistics and history, the program offers courses that enhance the students capabilities of conducting research and teaches existing methods in these subjects. |

Graduation Requirements |
Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree) Program with thesis is comprised of courses (54 ECTS), a field study (6 ECTS) and thesis (180 ECTS), in total 240 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB/S/TP grades. |
