Course Objective

The aim of the course is present the legends of Anatolia, inform about the Anatolian legends which have gone on for a long time, draw attention to the music plot in these, get students to comprehend the main lines of Turkish mythology and inform about the position of music in Turkish mythology.

1   Student knows the mythos and polythesim of Anatolia
2   Student cognizes the position of music in Anatolian legends.
3   Student interprets the environment of history and culture which Turks in before Anatolia.
4   Student cognizes the place of Turkish mythology in World mythology.
5   Student defines the basic concepts of Turkish mythology.
6   Student interprets the basic texts of Turkish mythology.
7   Student knows the music-mythology relationship of Turkish mythology.

Assignment/Presentation: Students prepare an assignment and make a presentation of it.
Exam: In one period there are mid-term exam and final exam. The exams are done written.
Attending to Course: It is obligatory.

Assessment Criteria

It is taken into consideration attending to course, it is obligatory to attend with a percentage of %70. The assessment is done by adding the percentages of mid-term exam s %40,assignment/presentation s %20, final exam s %40.
