Course Objective

This course will enable students to gain a full understanding of the importance of play in the cognitive, social, emotional, motor and language development of young children together with the ability to choose activities that are developmentally appropriate.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   An understanding of the importance of play for early childhood.
2   Be able to design appopriate learning centers for children.
3   Be able to choose appropriate play activities for early childhood.
4   An understanding of the function of play
5   be able to arrange activities and materials parallel to the learning principles of early childhood education.
