Course Objective

The aim of this course is to show the relationship between education and sociology. to gain knowledge about main concepts of sociology, and to have knowledge about the sociologic problems in educational area and to discuss different views in order to solve these problems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To explain the relationship between education and sociology
2   To recognise the actual issues educational sociology
3   To explain education and social stratification
4   To discuss the concepts of eqality and inequality in education
5   To explain the impact of current issueson the education system such as Globalization, migration and so on.
6   To discuss school-social environment and violence as a social system.
