Course Objective

To introduce; fundemantal elements of Statistics and Probability, graphical and numerical methods for describing data sets, how to calculate probability, how to form probability distributions for both discrete and continuous random variables and how to calculate mathematical expectation.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Since this is a multi sectional lecture the grades will be evaluated with 40% of the midterm exam, 10% homework-quiz and 50% of the final exam but these grades will be shown as 100% final note on the system.
