Course Objective

The aim of this course is to learn to the students on the history, periods and historical geography of Hittite Empire from Hittite, Egypt and Ugarit sources.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the Hittite culture.
2   understand the geographical conditions have an important part in the expanding and surviving of Hittite Kingdom.
3   define the situation of Hittite Kingdom in history of Old Anatolia.
4   know on the peoples and neighbors of the Hittite Geography
5   Analyze the relation between the Hittite Kingdom and other cultures.
