Course Objective

Learning about Roman art and architecture, city planning, forum and agora, basilica and residential architecture, construction methods and materials, starting with Etruscan origins to 4th century AD.

2   To explain the inspiration for roman city planning with examples
3   To determine the development of roman forum and agora
4   To define the development of roman basilica
5   Learn the correct terminology for architecture in Archaic period
