Course Objective

This lecture which is recommended for 1st term of Geophysical Enginnering department programme, intends the begining students of geophysical enginnering to understand basic princibles of geology, main features of earth and the internal and external periods which form the earth crust.

Assessment Criteria

LO1: To be able to know the basic principles of Earth Sciencs-Mid-term and final exams
LO2: To be able to know the characteistics of the Earth- Mid-term and final exams
LO3: To be able to understand the basic working and thinking principles of Geology- Mid-term and final exams
LO4: To be able to determine the rocks-Tutorials, mid-term and final exams
LO5: To be able to understand the basic internal and external processes forming the earth crust- Mid-term and final exams
