To interpret works properly consistent with music periods stylistically.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain various string instruments in accordance with the period they belong to.
2   Describe string instruments used in Renaissance.
3   Compare Baroque era bow with classical era bow.
4   List physical advancements occured on the body of strings in 19th century
5   Define similarities and differences of string instruments according to music periods they were used in.
