Course Objective

Special immunology, immunological response to parasitic disease, defining and practising immunological methods in parasitology

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Presents, discuss and apply knowledge about in vivo animal experiments used in Parasitology
2   Practice parasite inoculation to mice and preparing crude antigen, interpret the results
3   Practice preparing soluble antigen and interpret the results
4   Apply and compare serological tests (IHA, IFAT, ELISA, SDS-Page, Western Blot), interpret the results
5   Apply molecular tests and interpret the results

5 ELISA test (Conventional, Double Sandwich , Capture, Dot blot, Dimential) and using in parasitology
6 Direct and indirect fluoresance antikor methods and using in parasitology
7 Aglutination ((HA, IHA, latex, differentitial aglutination) and rapid diagnostic test and using in parasitology
8 SDS page, WB and using in parasitology
9 Other serological tests (dye, avidite, compleman fixation, electrophoresis, counter immunoelectrophoresis, immunodiffusion radioimmunoassay, competetif Inhibition and using in parasitology
10 Diagnosis in Toxoplasmosis and comment to serological results
11 Diagnosis in Leishmaniosis and comment to serological results
