Course Objective

The aim of this course is to train nurses that have enough knowledge in the assessment of national and international social determinants (religion, population structure, globalization, inequalities, urbanization, migration, political and social politics) that affect individual, family and society, are aware of the responsibilities of nurses and other health workers and have the characteristics of universal scientist

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Explains national and international social determinants (demographical, religious, political structures) that affect individual, family and society.
2   2. Analyzes the reasons of social determinants
3   3. Explains the effects of social determinants on health and health workers
4   4. Explains the role of nurse in making the effects of social determinants positive and can fulfill responsibilities
