Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to enable the student to make practice and assessment to provide the self-management, self-care or concord of a patient group.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student can discuss the problems and solution suggestions related with the application field of internal diseases nursing.
2   The student can assess the efficiency of new knowledge and skills being used in the application field of internal diseases nursing.
3   The student can use a model or theory of internal diseases nursing during the care of an adult individual. The student can use a model or theory of internal diseases nursing during the care of an adult individual.
4   The student can lead in the identification and solution of problems encountered in the application field of internal diseases nursing.
5   The student can make cooperation with other members of medical team for the development of the nursing care.
6   The student can discuss her/his opinions about the use of theories and models in nursing care with specialists.

Assessment Criteria

Student s; awareness of problems regarding the application field, skill of using the specialty knowledge, making decisions and sharing her/his views about cooperation with team members and recruitment of nursing practices are assessed.
