Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide the learning embryonic development of head and neck, body cavities, cardiovascular system, respiratory system and digestive system.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to define human embryology of organs and systems comparatively
2   Able to identify further development of pharyngeal arches, head and neck
3   Able to explain the formation of body cavities
4   Able to define the beginning and blood circulation characteristics of the intrauterine period.
5   Able to discuss the development and anomalies of the heart and vessels.
6   Able to explain embryology and anomalies of upper and lower respiratory system and discuss the changes after the birth.
7   Able to explain normal development and congenital anomalies of the digestive system and its appendix.
