Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide the learning of the usage and application methods, structure, operation principles of the microscope.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to explain and use different types of light microscopes
2   Able to explain and use phase contrast microscope
3   Able to explain and use fluorescent microscope
4   To define the dark-field microscope
5   To define the confocal microscope and the atomic force microscope
6   To define the working principles of electron microscope
7   To apply the microscopic imaging techniques
8   Able to the microscopic images optimization, measurement and evaluation

2 Properties and the use of an inverted microscope Properties and the use of confocal microscope and atomic force microscope Scanning electron microscope Transmission electron microscopy Microscopic imaging techniques and image optimization Analyzing microscopic images and related software s for measurement and assessment New imaging technologies and microscopes are being developed Final exam
