Course Objective

Student completing this course gains knowledge and practise in treatment approaches (hydrotherapy, aquatherapy, therapatic electrical stimulation, etc.) in patients with different diseases (musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and neurolojic diseases ). Student gains knowledge in discussion, clinical decision making, and planning in terms of physiotherapy in different diseases.

1   Knows and practice hydrotherapy methods.
2   Knows aquatherapy.
3   Knows and practice joint mobilisation principles.
4   Knows and practice neuromuscular electrical stimulation methods.
5   Knows and practice deep friction massage, connective tissue massaqe and classic maasage.

1 Content and definition of the course.
2 Definition of hyrotherapy -mechanical properties of the water, general principles - biophysical effects of the water
3 equipments in use of hydrotherapy.
4 techniques of hyrdotherapy and in use of diseases.
5 Akuatherapy general principles and practices
6 Content of the electrotherapy and general principles
7 physiological effects of the therapatic electrical - nervous system - muscle sceletal system
8 Electrical fenomen - Electrons and ions -volty, rezistance, amplitud -frequens, phase, impedance
9 Electrical stimulation
10 -electrical stimulation in healthy muscle - tissue repair - electrical stimulation in denerve - neuromuscular electrical stimulation
11 - TENS
12 enterrerance, high voltage pulse current, high frequence current
13 - EMG biofeedback
14 -evidenced-based practices
