Course Objective

We know that the concept of media, has derivatives in digital art as well as contemporary art communication character. Media concept, illusion, reality and virtuality, the relations and differences illusion, photography, cinema, graphics, pictures ... in the context of traditional processes, starting, today, is aimed to evaluate the size of gains. Multi-disciplinary framework of relationships between art and censorship are examined in the context of course in Media Culture. In addition to perceive the importance of the artistic expressions of legal and ethical legislation called the fundamental rights to use the skills in this area is important. Thus, for media literacy competencies of students face problems in life, to explain, to compare the knowledge, skills and competence to solve easily be reached.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1- To evaluate the difference in the size of gains Illusion, virtuality, the relationships and differences between reality and illusion, photography, cinema graphics, pictures, context, starting with the traditional processes for today.
2   To explicate relationship between art and censorship and their components of examples in nowadays.
3   Go out with to perceive the idea of contributing to the importance of culture of the media privilege of ownership of the legal framework and ethical awareness, they earns search for the fundamental rights to use the photo skills mainly.
4   To understand and create about relationships between media and contemporary art.
5   To compare the transformation of digital art media
6   Media Aesthetics class with the data obtained for the visual world literacy competencies to solve problems students encounter in life.
