Course Objective

It aims to describe, the importance of the criticism institution of art in general the art of photography in particular. What is criticism, comment explaining what the theoretical level, and after explaining the differences, going through examples of the role of criticism that describes the development of the art of photography. With emphasis on methods of criticism, by means of these methods are criticized and interpreted for selected photos. Afterwards, the students write critiques of their chosen photos, and accomplish the purpose of these articles is provided about the construction of classroom assessment

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To analyze photos of criticism and interpretation provided by the methods of scientific knowledge of disciplines
2   To be able to make evaluation about developments of photography art in scientific and artistic way.
3   To translate written literary text to the photographic visual information.
4   To transfer as orally and in written about the people and institutions on issues related photographs, thoughts, and suggestions for solutions to problems with justified.
5   To display critical thinking that is required in the nature of the vision for Institutionalization of the art of photography.

For various reasons, can not come to the shortcomings of the course, students complete their first course.

Assessment Criteria

- A midterm for the course (20%), at least one in-class assessment (20) is made.
- A final exam (60)
- Pre-announcement has been opened in the city, the student is responsible for exhibitions and artistic activities
