Course Objective

A structured approach to designing multipage documents and organizing the correct hierarchy and legibility of the texts; to teach design integrity and sustainability for newspapers which have different frequency and different dimensions, while analyzing the standards of the newspaper printing and design industries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to design typesetting for multi-page documents
2   To be able to organize the correct hierarchy and legibility of the texts
3   To be able to design publications containing typography, images and typography and image combinations
4   To be able to have design skills for organizing different sets of information which have different complexities
5   To be able to generate files in Adobe InDesign
6   To be able to obtain knowledge about the standards of the newspaper printing and design
