Course Objective

The main objective of this course is to make student have basic grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking skills in French.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   the student is expected to interact in a simple way
2   ask and answer simple questions, initiate and respond to simple statements in areas of immediate need or on very familar topics
3   acquire basic French oral-written communication skills
4   follow short, simple written directions
5   recognise familiar names, words and very basic phrases on simple notices in the most common everyday situations.
6   understand short, simple messages on postcards.
