Course Objective

Students are presenting their strategies for creating typographic design concepts, design, font, size, editing, and writing a series of research solutions including advanced typography image combinations. Students gain experience in solving problems using manual and computer skills. Animate font typography made in accordance with the concept of design.

2 Examine fonts, typography features and options in Photoshop software
3 Creating specific photographs, images and appropriate typography that will be used in designs.
4 Designing a typographic composition in Photoshop software.
5 Understanding Adobe After Effects and its usage specifications.
6 Designing a marquee in Adobe After Effects.

8 Animating a typographic design which is designed in photoshop with After Effects

10 Understanding the functions of music and sound in a dynamic aniamated typography design

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lessons The instructor guides the students in creating projects and wants them to implement upon shown examples. Revision and research of new technologies, applied studio practices and grading of exercises as well as encountered practical skills are shown every week during the first and the last hour by the instructor. The joining of in-class discussions, ideas about the preperations of projects and the presentation of opinions is being incouraged. Practice In the process of practice the students are shown examples on which methods can be used for production. Analogue to the shown examples within three weeks test works are expected from the students.

Essays produced by the students shared in closed groups of students can be seen on the internet. Students' scores is the group members, get 50% Rate creating .On the second 50% of the students are determined by the Faculty offering the course.

Assessment Criteria

Creativity in homework practices, perceptions and skills qualifications will be considered.

1. Students are required to attend 70% of classes.
2. The Students who are not delivering projects on time and didn't attend classes, their excuses will not be accepted.
3. The person who don't deliver projects on time will not be accepted.
