Course Objective

Conduct studies and research into effects of hybrid technologies combining traditional hand crafts aesthetics with new technologies on current textile surfaces through new developments and relevant practical experiments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Interpreting innovative style of textile art works which has been influenced by 1990 s Technologies
2   Convey fiber art to industrial output dimensions through designing analyses
3   Being aware of the fact that 2-3 dimensional textiles are composed of combining more techniques and material in design works
4   Knowing about suitable technique to pass from design to output and putting it into practice

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lecturing and Participation of Students in Lecture:Staff member is to convey prepared texts to students via visual processes after which a discussion medium is created on the matter.
Research Subjects and Related Presentations:Students with knowledge of research subjects prepare what they have learned in oral, written and visual terms in the level of expertise and present it by a predetermined Schedule
Applications: to enable students put what they have learned into practice through practical experiments concerning related scientific fields and analyse it .
