Course Objective

To reach the methods and steps of a research and rules to be considered in writing and presentation process.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description 1 Significance of scientific research and its essential properties. Unethical behaviors in scientific research, publication and artistic studies. 2 Discussion of the subjects concerning area of expertise and determination of a research subject by defining the frame of study. 3 Design of research method and process, determination of materials, equipments etc.to be used and collaboration possibilities. 4 How to make literature survey How to select the keywords 5 How to prepare work schedule according to the steps of research and pursuit the process. Assesment of literature reached. 6 IMRAD technique for article preparation. Evaluation of some articles. 7 Mid-term exam 8 Evaluation of assignments 9 Proposal of a research project and project types 10 Evaluation of assignments 11 Evaluation of assignments 12 Rules for oral presentation.
