Course Objective

The aim of this course is to elucidate the molecular mechanisms responsible during embryonic development.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the molecular regulation and signalization of germ cells and fertilization
2   Accumulate relevant information regarding the molecular mechanisms of implantation
3   Understand the molecular regulation and signalization of implantation
4   Gain understanding of molecular regulation and signalization of the fetal period
5   Be able to discuss the epigenetic control of development
6   Understand the molecular mechanisms vigourous in developmental anomalies
