Course Objective

The aim of this course is to have the students make original art studies by using traditional techniques of floss silk woven by knotted technique.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   use knotted weaving techniques,
2   provide material-technique-motif and composition coherence,
3   follow current design concepts,
4   make displayable art products by using knotted weaving techniques,
5   present their studies effectively.
