Course Objective

The aim of this course is to have the students to change their designs which they plan to make on a fabric weaving loom into product by removing technical and aesthetic problems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   choose suitable materials for their designs,
2   write the weaving draft report in accordance with the design,
3   prepare the armure plan in accordance with the design,
4   lurnish with the warp and convey it into the loom,
5   realize the weaving.

In this course, the lecturer s notes and resource researches will be used. Application works will be realized in the workshop under the supervision of the lecturer.

The students researches and assignments will be evaluated out of 100.

80 % attendance is compulsory. Workshop studies are nominal. Especially, designs and applications have to be completed in a lesson s time.
