Course Objective

This course aims to introduce the private aspects of international trade law focusing on typical private transactions especially international sale of goods, transfer of technology and direct investment. Special emphasis will be given to settlement of disputes and arbitration.

Assessment Criteria

1. The student will identify possible problems in international trade law and propose possible solutions to prevent disputes.
2. The student will identify the importance of alternative dispute settlement especially arbitration for settleemnt of international trade disputes.
