Course Objective

This course aims to introduce the private aspects of international trade law focusing on typical private transactions especially international sale of goods, transfer of technology and direct investment. Special emphasis will be given to settlement of disputes and arbitration.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   will demonstrate understanding of main issues of international trade law such as international sale of goods, transfer of technology, direct
2   will comprehend the importance of alternative dispute settlement methods for settlement of international trade disputes
3   will be able to follow the current changes in the field in order to examine the relevant topics.

1. The student will identify possible problems in international trade law and propose possible solutions to prevent disputes.
2. The student will identify the importance of alternative dispute settlement especially arbitration for settleemnt of international trade disputes.
