Course Objective

It is aimed to form the individual illustrative style by thinking of the artistic anatomy, strengthen the visual presentation by taking the body and material harmony into consideration.

1   Forming the individual illustrative style by thinking of the anatomic form,
2   Performing stylisation through body drawing,
3   Proportioning through the body,
4   Artistic drawings to sustain designs,
5   Performing the clothing in drawings,
6   Being able to draw suitable designs to the model.

Course Contents

1 Transition to the artistic anatomy, module transfer of human body
2 Drawing foot and leg on the basis of artistic anatomy and stylisation of these drawing
3 Analysing and drawing the arm and hand anatomically and stylisation
4 Analysing the artistic anatomy of the woman s torso and stylisation in order to turn into artistic drawing
5 Skull drawing, data transfer on the proportion of human face
6 Analysing the details of eye, ear, nose, mouth and lip
7 Forming individual character and the transfer of project topic
8 Stylisation studies for transmitting the whole body into artistic drawing
9 Body stylisation study
10 Body stylisation study
11 Searching different position sketches in artistic drawing and position on silhouette
12 Wearing studies on the silhouette

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

In accordance with the assigned homework, the evaluation will be made according to etude studies, sketch books and the characters on formed sheets, proportion, suitable for the anatomic structure and stylisation proportion.

1. There is a 70 % obligation in attendance to lesson.
2. All plagiarism attempts and actions would end up in disciplinary punishment
3. Nonattendance to the lesson, not performing the required responsibilities will not be accepted.
4. For late project deliveries, decreasing a letter grade for each day will be applied.
