Course Objective

This course aims to analyse the principle product types and the details on a scaled robot on the basis of technical drawing principles and to give information on this topic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to know the technical drawing areas,
2   To be able to draw the basic cloth forms and details by using a scaled robot,
3   To analyse the preparation process of the clothes and to perform technical drawing
4   To be able to perform the detailed technical drawings of the cloth detail and embellishing
5   To be able to draw the model application studies via scaled robots based on the basic cloth forms

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1. Classes
The lecturer guides students about how to draw the principle cloth forms and details via scaled robot by explaining the relationship between a three dimensional cloth and two dimensional sketch.
2. Revision sessions and class discussions
Revision sessions will be held by the lecturer in the first and the last hour of each week at the transition stage of the basic cloth forms into the technical drawing pages. Assignments and class activities will form the basis of analysing the technical drawing in these sessions. Students will be encouraged for preparing and presenting the technical drawing pages.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Students will prepare the basic cloth forms on technical drawing pages by using scaled robot. They draw the detail expansion of the prepared models.

1. There is a 70 % obligation in attendance to lesson.
2. All plagiarism attempts and actions would end up in disciplinary punishment
3. Nonattendance to the lesson, not performing the required responsibilities will not be accepted.
4. For late project deliveries, decreasing a letter grade for each day will be applied.
