Course Objective

Intellectual and industrial property rights infringements on the calculation of damages.
In particular the analysis of the problems encountered in practice in cases of compensation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding of the types of damages resulting from intellectual and industrial ownership.
2   Learning of the conditions for the opening of damages actions.
3   The concept of damage and loss of intellectual and industrial ownership calculation.
4   Analysis of the cases of compensation loss calculation methods
5   Analysis of the effects of the degree of the defect, the amount of compensation in cases of compensation.
6   Understanding of the problems encountered in the cases of compensation procedures.
7   Seminar presentations can be made.

1 Violate the rights of intellectual and industrial property which constitutes a common feature of behavior
2 Actions which constitute trademark infringement determination
3 Whoever's fault in determining the scope of the obligation to take care of the concept of defect and rape
4 Actual damages and profits, the formation of dispossessed property damage
5 Given the difficulty of proof of damages in case of infringement of the trademark adopted solutions
6 Rape can achieve with the use of the brand owner's trademark rights are exposed to the calculation of potential income

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The first lecture will be seven weeks. The remaining six weeks at the end of the seminar presentations and presentations to students in the form of a question-and-answer discussion on the subject will be provided.
