Course Objective

Acquire the advanced knowledge about audiological instuments and hearing amplification systems.

1   Able to describe all steps used in the hearing aid selection and fitting process.
2   Able to explain the functions of all components of digital hearing aids.
3   Know and differentiate the hearing aid styles.
4   Describe the basic earmold styles and their function.
5   Describe the design and function of a hearing aids
6   Know to linear and nonlinear amplification systems
