Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to have the emergency and disaster management participants to gain knowledge and skills associated with to the logic of the scientific method. In this context, ıt is intendet to provide the process of qualitative and quantitative research methods, description of fundamental problems of research, the literature of emergency and disaster management, formulating theoretical models, measurement and methods of data gathering, case applications, analysis of financial outcomes, semi-experiantial designs, statistical data and making applications.lysisdesign, and qualitative and statistical analysis of data. Students will be afforded to opportunity to begin to conduct research on topics within the field of emergency and disaster management. This course is intended to provide a foundation from which the student may use the knowledge and practices gained in this course throughout the rest of their graduate program. |
