Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the history of the Aegean world, the Western Anatolia, the Cyclades and Mainland Greece. The cultural history of region focusing on material findings will be real asset for the field of museology

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning the infrastructure of the Aegean region i.e., data coming from the geography that does not change despite changing cultures, natural environment and potentiality.
2   Students aim to learn the earliest periods of the Aegean History, that are parallel to human history, and the environment and circles of life developed by human activity
3   Students analyze material data of Aegean cultures
4   Students analyze the literary sources of Aegean cultures
5   Students learn about the human dimension of Aegean cultures
