Course Objective |
The objective of this course is to integrate and build upon the knowledge and skills have been acquired through previous coursework. It focuses on all aspects of business (accounting, finance, marketing, operations, human resources, information systems) and industry and competitive environment in which it operates, it s long-term direction and strategy, resources and competitive capabilities, and prospects for success. It tries to enable learners how the business analyze, assess its skills, attributes and capabilities and operates for good business performance .Key activities of the course include exploration of why good strategic management leads to good business performance, understanding of the basic concepts and tools of business policy and strategic analysis, and mastery of the methods of crafting and competently executing a well-conceived strategy. Finally, it explores the social, moral, and ethical consequences of strategic management decisions. |
