Course Objective

The primary objective of this course is to provide an understanding of multivariate statistical techniques used in public policy analysis.

1   Use decision tools to make data-driven evaluation and policy choices;
2   Employ statistical methods appropriately
3   Distinguish between different approaches to decision making using quantitative research;
4   Identify the decision tools appropriate for different situations in research;
5   Appreciate public administration, political science, sociological and economic etc. contexts of disaster management research;
