Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the grammar and improve the students reading, writing and speaking skills in the beginner level.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Memorize the Russian Alphabet,
2   Show the Russian pronunciation,
3   Show that he/she has the basic grammatical knowledge of Russian,
4   Prove that he/she has the ability to read in Russian,
5   Prove that he/she has the ability to write in Russian,
6   Be able to making translation from Russian to Turkish and from Turkish to Russian

2 Pronunciation. Vocal-consonant pronunciation study.
3 Reading excercises.
4 Nouns. Animate-inanimate nouns. Reading excercises.
5 Personal pronouns.
6 Reading excercises. Dialogues.
7 Gender of nouns.
8 Mid-term exam.
9 Examining the text.
10 Gender of pronouns.
11 Examining the text and dialogues.
12 Dialogues.
13 Examining the text from the Reference book.
14 Examining the text and dialogues from the Reference book.

1. 1- 70% class attendance is obligatory.
2. 2- Not attending to the class will not be accepted as an excuse for delaying or not giving the homeworks.
3. 3- Attendance to the classes, homework studies and final exams will be taken into consideration during the evaluation process.
