Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine main concepts related to basic psychology approaches, scientific method and research, learning and classical conditioning, operant conditioning, motivation, cognitive, emotional and social developments in infants, children and adolescents.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to describe basic concepts in relation to psychology.
2   Being able to describe basic theories in relation to psychology.
3   Being able to summarize basic principles in relation to different subfields of psychology discipline.
4   Being able to explain the relationships between different subfields of psychology and other related disciplines.
5   Being able to compare the differences and similarities between psychology and other disciplines.
